Subject: Paramayogi Vilasamu
Composed in the early-mid 1500's this work is important because it gives a direct account of the lives of Alwars and Acharyas from the scholar Chinnana, who was a diciple of the Ahobilam Math.
The author mentions in his work that he undertook the writing of Paramayogi Vilasamu after Lord Venkateshwara appeared in his dream and commanded him to do so, thereby glorifying the lives of the Alwars and Acharyas.
Incidentally Chinanna is also the composer of a work on the life of Annamacharya in dwipada form- Annmacharya Jeevithacharitramu.
